GOOREE GR522L Energy Storage Project Signed in Shenzhen
Contract signing has been completed for a 5.22 MW / 10.44 MWh commercial and industrial energy storage project at a technology park in Bao'an District, Shenzhen, China. Boltpower is participating as the project investor. The project will deploy 20 GOOREE GR522L liquid-cooled all-in-one energy storage cabinets to support electricity cost optimization and more flexible energy management across the park.
Peak Shaving and Load Shifting for Industrial Park Energy Management
The project is designed to address common commercial and industrial energy needs, with peak shaving and load shifting as its primary applications. These strategies can help industrial facilities manage electricity consumption in response to site-specific load profiles and applicable time-of-use electricity tariffs.
Charging and discharging schedules will be developed around the technology park's actual electricity demand and tariff structure. The planned operating strategy is to charge during lower-priced periods and discharge during higher-priced periods. Demand management strategies can also be configured according to site requirements and the applicable electricity billing structure.
The effectiveness of these strategies will depend on the site's load profile, tariff arrangements and operating requirements. The project is intended to support more structured electricity cost management while providing greater flexibility in how energy is used.
GOOREE GR522L Liquid-Cooled All-in-One Energy Storage System
The GOOREE GR522L integrates batteries, power conversion, liquid cooling, fire protection and energy management systems within an all-in-one cabinet. This integrated configuration brings key energy storage components together to support system deployment and operation.
For commercial and industrial applications, the system also provides operating status monitoring, alarm notifications and remote data access. These functions support project deployment and subsequent operation and maintenance (O&M), helping operators monitor system conditions and access relevant operational information remotely.
Supporting More Flexible Energy Management in Shenzhen
The completion of contract signing marks an important milestone for the 5.22 MW / 10.44 MWh energy storage project and establishes a foundation for implementation. As the project moves forward, the GOOREE GR522L solution will be aligned with the technology park's actual energy requirements and operating conditions.
By combining liquid-cooled all-in-one energy storage cabinets with load-based charging and discharging strategies, the project aims to support more refined electricity management for commercial and industrial users. It also demonstrates the planned application of GOOREE's energy storage technology in an industrial park setting.
